Dear supporters of Casa 2,
We are deeply grateful and delighted to present our progress report and thank you for our first campaign, “I want a backpack too – 2023”. This initiative was an important step in our commitment to make a positive change in our community and support the education of disadvantaged children.
Our campaign started from a simple but profound observation: preparing for school is an exciting time for children and parents. However, for many children in Vaslui County, this experience was overshadowed by the lack of resources needed to start their courses in optimal conditions.
With your support, people for people, we have managed to turn our desire to make a change into reality. Thus, from 14 August to 10 September 2023, God helped us to raise, through you, a total of 5850 lei, and all this money was spent efficiently and responsibly. With these, we purchased and equipped 72 school bags with school supplies.
In this campaign, we have been blessed to have as a valuable partner The Missionary Association for the Education of Children who donated materials for children with Christian teachings. This gesture brought an extra dimension to the children’s education and spiritual development and we thank them from the bottom of our hearts for their support.
The main beneficiaries of our campaign were some children we had been considering for some time in the villages: Tufeștii de Jos, Târzii and Fundu Văii. However, during the campaign, God opened doors for us in other communities, extending our impact into neighbouring communities.
Thus, the equipped backpacks were distributed with love and care to children from Fundu Văii, Târzii, Tufeștii de Jos, Bălțați and Șerbotești. Importantly, they have reached children from kindergarten between 0 and 8th grade covering a wide range of ages and needs. Through this simple gesture, we have managed to give these children a better chance in education and in life.

In conclusion, we would like to emphasize that this campaign is just the beginning for Casa 2 Association. With your support, we are determined to continue to make a positive difference in the lives of children in our community. We believe that education is the key that can change the destiny of these children, and together we can give them a brighter future.
A big thank you to all those who contributed to the success of this campaign and who made it possible to put smiles on the faces of these children. We continue to work to bring positive change to their world and are happy to be on this journey with you.
