A man with a heart for people has donated a small apartment free of charge for them to live in for as long as they need, until they can fix the roof or find a better place to live. The snow did not take into account the old age of the house, whose roof has been over many winters. The snow piled as much as it could on top of the roof, until it gave in. Water got into the house and the wiring broke down. The repairs are expensive and time-consuming, and some more experienced people say it’s not even worth it, as the house is old, small and not suitable for raising eight children in.
So, forced by circumstances, they had to pack what they could, take the babies and move. The apartment they got is a small one, but it suits them well for now. But they have a lot of work to do here too. The apartment has been unoccupied for six years. Missing heat source, doors, flooring, appliances and furniture. They brought what they had left from the old house, but the needs are great.
By the time they were whitewashing a handful the walls, we had purchased two mattresses and prepared two large beds IKEA each with four storage spaces, which we received from Fight For Freedom Association for just such situations. Two large beds and ten people. Space did not allow them to have a third bed, as we would have given it to them. A sofa bed would be more suitable.
And starting with this sofa bed, we would like to list the necessities, which together with you, people with a heart for people, we can cover in full, in part, or even find better solutions for this family:
Cash donations can be made to the association’s accounts with the mention “Apartment”:
