The most wonderful gift! – 2023

15,000 lei Needed Donation

Although we are only at the end of the first month of autumn, our thoughts are already on Christmas. The smell of cinnamon buns begins to smile at us, as does the memory of golden cakes roasting on the stovetop, while our ears yearn for the sound of carols and wood burning in the stove.

Aware of their importance and impact, we want to give children whose childhoods are overshadowed by deprivation and poverty the chance to create new and beautiful memories that they can look back on with a nostalgic smile when they grow up.

How can we achieve this? By giving a gift. We don’t think it is necessary to detail the effect a gift has on a child, as we have all experienced it first hand.

In addition to this long-awaited gift for all children, we also want to tell them about the God’s most wonderful gift to us all. Of course, we are not referring to Santa Claus, who is additional baggage to these holidays, an idea that was created by humans, not God. The Christmas tree, Christmas lights and presents certainly have their charms, but if we focus exclusively on these, we can miss the essence of the true meaning of Christmas. Without the presence of the Child in the manger, Christmas would not exist. This Child is Jesus Christ, the Messiah or Immanuel, as he is called in the Bible.

The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”).

Matthew 1:23

So, with your help, people with a heart for people, we can carry forward the news of the birth of the true Celebrated One, the Most Wonderful Gift, giving children the chance to create beautiful memories that will positively influence their lives. We are starting  “The most wonderful gift” campaign with the hope that by Christmas we will have a minimum of 100 gifts.

How can you help us?

Make your own gift at home, perhaps with the involvement of the little ones, who will know that they will bring joy to other children like them. Send the gift wrapped in a box labelled with the child’s age and gender to our warehouse:

1 Stefan cel Mare Street, Sat. Muntenii de Jos, Com. Muntenii de Jos, Jud. Vaslui, Postcode 737365. Contact person: Daniel Maxim – 0773.802.338.

What should the gift contain?

– A new toy;

– Puzzle (age appropriate);

– Sweets (jellies/biscuits/chocolate/wafers/candies/etc);

– New gloves, scarf and hat (age appropriate);

– Colouring book (age-appropriate, up to age 8);

– Toothpaste and toothbrush.

If you have the desire to add other necessities for a child, feel free to do so.

As we are talking about gifts, we want the things given to be new, so that the children’s joy is complete.
