A month ago, we launched an appeal for solidarity and humanity, asking for your help to make a real difference in the lives of two disadvantaged families. Our goal was simple but crucial: to build two wells in areas where access to clean water was extremely limited. Today, we are delighted to share with you the results of this project, which has exceeded all our expectations and has shown us what the power of community really means.

Having met these families, we are committed to doing everything we can to provide them with safe and permanent access to drinking water. Every drop of water was precious to them, and they had to travel long distances to fetch water from other wells. One of the families was going through a particularly difficult ordeal: the ‘pillar of the house’, the father, had suffered a serious illness that resulted in the amputation of both legs. In addition, this year, our area has been hit by a severe drought, which has further complicated their situation, with many wells running out of water.

But with your help, we have managed to raise the necessary funds not only to dig the wells, but also to install electric pumps, which not only make it easier to access water, but are also a great help in watering their gardens. Despite the challenges of drought, God blessed our efforts, and we found water in both locations.

The installation of the pumps marked the completion of this project and the result was full of excitement and joy. The happiness and gratitude of the two families was evident, their tears of gratitude being the greatest reward for all those who contributed to this initiative.

This project was a real testament to what we can achieve together. Every donation, every gesture of kindness has made a difference and transformed these people’s lives in a significant way. Now the two families have what every human deserves: access to clean and healthy water, and with it, the chance to a better and more dignified life.
